Las Vegas is undoubtedly one of the world’s biggest tourist sites. The Las Vegas Sun newspaper brings all the latest news, weather, events and jobs in the area plus much more. In 1995, a monorail system was opened in the city which was expanded to 6km in 2004. The Robert N. Broadbent Las Vegas Monorail reaches speeds up to 50 miles per hour and stops at all the major hotels and casino’s on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The whole trip takes approximately 14 minutes. Many people travel to Las Vegas to get married. There are countless wedding chapels in the city some of which offer a wide range of themed wedding services including; Elvis, Helicopter, Egyptian and Love in the Limo weddings. A marriage licence is easily available from The Clark County Marriage Bureau (located downtown at Carson and 3 rd Streets) which is open 24 hours on a weekend and 8 A.M - midnight on a weekday. A licence will cost around $55.00 and you will need a valid drivers licence or passport for identification. Waiting time for a licence is usually around 15-30 minutes at off peak times.
