Las Vegas is undoubtedly one of the world’s biggest tourist sites. With its countless casino’s such as Harrah’s, Caesar’s and The Mirage to name but a few, there is no end to the fun that can be had playing games such as Roulette, Black JackPoker and of course the thousands of One Arm Bandit machines.

There is a massive choice of hotel accommodation to choose from including the impressive MGM Grand with its Grand Garden Arena which hosts mega events such as rock concerts by U2 and The Rolling Stones and not forgetting the Championship Boxing broadcasted by Sky TV. The MGM is also host to the big Las Vegas shows such as David Copperfield and the world famous Cirque du Soleil and has even reincarnated the legendary STUDIO 54 night club. Other famous hotels include The Bellagio, with its beautiful water feature at the front, Paris Las Vegas and the Luxor.

In 1995, a monorail system was opened in the city which was expanded to 6km in 2004. The Robert N. Broadbent Las Vegas Monorail reaches speeds up to 50 miles per hour and stops at all the major hotels and casino’s on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The whole trip takes approximately 14 minutes.

Many people travel to Las Vegas to get married. There are countless wedding chapels in the city some of which offer a wide range of themed wedding services including; Elvis, Helicopter, Egyptian and Love in the Limo weddings. A marriage licence is easily available from The Clark County Marriage Bureau (located downtown at Carson and 3 rd Streets) which is open 24 hours on a weekend and 8 A.M - midnight on a weekday. A licence will cost around $55.00 and you will need a valid drivers licence or passport for identification. Waiting time for a licence is usually around 15-30 minutes at off peak times.
